Hello, Dark Shadows Fan,

ShadowGram (SG), The Official Newsletter & News Source for Dark Shadows
announces the following breaking news in this Online News Update "bulletin."

This information was sent to me today by Kathryn.

Lara (Angelique, Catherine) and Kathryn (Maggie, Josette) will join fellow
actress Julie Newmar (TV's Batman - 1966) in a panel titled "Cat's Throw
Dark Shadows: From Actress to Author" at the 10th Annual West Hollywood Book

All 3 actresses have written books inspired by their iconic TV roles. Lara's
novels, published by Tor Books, are "DS: The Salem Branch," its prequel "DS:
Angelique's Descent," and her upcoming 3rd novel in the series (currently
untitled).. Kathryn's novel is "Dark Passages," and Julie's done "The
Conscious Catwoman." Recent SG print issues have reported about Lara's and
Kathryn's books. The next SG #122 print issue will update.

pm - 4:15 pm

Joe (1991 David, Daniel) stars in the new release 50/50. It opened
nationwide today,. 9-30.

He plays a successful young man diagnosed with a rare form of spinal cancer.
It is based in the real-life experiences of screenwriter Will Reiser and his
best friend, actor Seth Rogen. Joe's "Adam" is based on Will, and Seth
himself portrays the friend, here named "Kyle." The dark comedy is receiving
critical praise for its delicate balance of realism, compassion, and humor.

Recent SG print issues have detailed Joe's work in the film and its
background. The next SG #122 newsletter will feature interviews, reviews,
articles, and other media coverage.
