**** DAVID & SUSAN SULLIVAN TO ATTEND "FALCON CREST" TRIBUTE
--- SG previously reported David's (Quentin) role as "Gage" in THE SOCIAL NETWORK, which opened nationwide Oct. 1. Industry, critical, and public interest has been very high for the movie.
David's wife Chip tells SG: "David has a small but very nice role in the big film opening on Oct. 1st, The Social Network. We saw a screening - very well made morality study of the beginnings of Facebook."
Written by the acclaimed Aaron Sorkin (THE WEST WING), the movie follows the development of Facebook by two Harvard undergrads in 2003, tracing as the internet network explodes into a worldwide phenomenon worth billions within a few years. LA Times 9-26: Star Andrew Garfield: "The themes are universal: friendship, betrayal, power, greed, filial obligation, differing value systems, success, money. It's all very Shakespearean. It's Greek" in its personal and professional tragedies. "Everyone's right and everyone's wrong. It's all gray."

--- SG just received confirmation that DAVID will participate in FALCON CREST: A LOOK BACK at the Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles on 10-12 at 7:00 pm. SUSAN SULLIVAN (DS Ghost), who played his FC wife "Maggie Gioberti Channing," also is scheduled to attend.

The prestigious Paley event hosts other cast members and series creator Earl Hmaner, who all will discuss the series and comment on selected FC episodes/scenes to be shown.

Dan Curtis Productions (DCP) asks SG to announce there are "2 new DS licensing agreements based on the original 1966-71 series. One calls for apparel and prop reproductions such as a Barnabas cape, wolf's head cane, fangs and ring. The other covers model kits of Barnabas and other characters and/or set pieces from the series." SG in print and online will update and report as "more details will be announced soon."

Joe (1991 DS' David, Daniel) often has said how important and influential his olderr brother Dan is to his life and his personal creative endeavors. SG sadly reports that Dan passed away at age 36 at his Hollywood home early on Oct. 4.
Joe announced his brother's passing on Twitter Tuesday evening, "My super hero brother @burningdan 1974-2010. Celebrate his life here ~ http://bit.ly/dBTMQ8 because he's f------ awesome."

Information from initial media reports follow.
Dan was a performance artist known as "Burning Dan," a talented fire dancer, perceptive photographer, and creatove spirit. He taught flow arts, which he described as "a combination of performance art and dance and meditation and yoga and sort of self-transformation, to give you a fun way of doing something that's really good for you and helps you be an even smoother, more awesome person than you already were." Dan started a school in Los Angeles to share his passion of flow arts."It's one of the things I love about the flow arts community around the world -- is how giving, generous and sharing everybody is," he said of his profession.
The two brothers shared a close relationship, together conceptualizing the website hitRECORD.org, an online community of artists and filmmakers, and eventually seeing it evolve into a popular destination for creatives since its creation about 5 years ago.
Joe wrote: "BURNING dAN brightly embodied that bold beastly bliss sometimes referred to as 'the creative spirit.' He was my chief collaborator on the foundational incarnations of hitRECord.org over the years and continues to inspire us ever the more. He would absolutely positively insist that we not let this bad news deter us on our collective mission. That said, I might not feel up to it for a little while. Watching this community blossom into what it has become never ceased to amaze him and me. We would regularly marvel at it and high five. Thank you all for that. There he is now pouring heaping hollowed watermelons full of love over each and every one of us..... See you real soon, thanks again."
Dan...was known for his involvement in the annual Burning Man festival in Nevada, as well as being an active photographer and fire dancer. He founded the Flow Temple, a school and performance group for Flow Arts that was based in Venice, Calif.
As Joseph's older brother, Dan beamed over the actor's success saying, "It's wonderful to be mistaken for him. He taught me to question the relationships other people have with their siblings because he would be my favorite person in the world even if I wasn't lucky enough to know him as my brother. He's just awesome in every way that I pay attention to. I ask myself 'do I love him because he's my brother or is he really that awesome?' He's really, really awesome."
Early reports say Dan "was found unresponsive in his Hollywood home in the early morning hours of Monday, according to the LA County Coroner. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death was unknown and an autopsy was pending."

ROY (1991 DS Roger, Trask) is expected to attend the Hollywood Collectors Show 10-9/10 at the Burbank (CA) Airport Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.
